Nach der vor allem in Finnland erfolgreichen Veröffentlichung seines Debütalbums „FOLK“ (2019), kehrt Jesse Markin am 25. September 2020 mit neuer Musik zurück. Seine neue Single „Stars In Your Eyes“ erscheint über VILD Recordings und popup-records und ist die erste Auskopplung aus seinem im Frühjahr 2021 erscheinenden zweiten Albums.

Irgendwo zwischen Rap und Indie ist „Stars In Your Eyes“ ein von Bossa-Nova-Rhythmen inspirierter Pop-Song über Hoffnung und Willensstärke:„The past year has been a struggle.
